Frozen Avocado Margarita

3 tablespoons blanco tequila
3 tablespoons fresh lime juice plus 1 lime, cut into wedges
1 tablespoon amber agave
1 tablespoon triple sec
1 cup ice
1/4 fresh avocado, peeled (about 1/4 cup).
Coarse salt, for rimming glass.

Instructions.

Special equipment: a high-powered mixer.

Include the tequila, lime juice, agave, triple sec and ice to a high-power blender. Blend up until the ice is crushed and the mix is uniform, about 20 seconds. Add the avocado and barely blend, about 10 seconds more. The mix will be smooth and pourable. (Make sure not to overblend, since the mix will end up being too thick.).

Utilize a lime wedge to dampen the rim of the glass. Dip the rim into the coarse salt. Pour the margarita into the glass and garnish with another lime wedge.
