Active Ingredients for Masala Fish Fry Recipe 1:
( Tsp-Teaspoon; Tbsp-Tablespoon).
– Fish – 500 gms (Rohu, Katla, Asian Carp).
For the Masala paste:.
– Green Chillies, cut- 3 nos.
– Ginger, sliced- 1" piece (8-9 gms).
– Garlic cloves- 6-7 (10 gms).
– Curry Leaves- 15-20 leaves.
– Coriander Leaves, chopped- 3 tbsp (10 gms).
– Water- 2 tbsp.
Marinade:.
– Masala Paste made previously.
– Turmeric Powder- 1/4 tsp.
– Red Chilli Powder- 1.5 tsp.
– Coriander Powder- 1 tsp.
– Cumin Powder- 1 tsp.
– Garam Masala Powder- 1/2 tsp.
– Salt- 1.25 tsp.
– Lemon juice- 2 tsp.
– Oil- 2 tbsp.
Other Components:.
– Oil for pan frying- 2 tbsp.
Preparation:.
– Peel the ginger & garlic cloves.
– Slice the ginger, green chillies and coriander leaves.
– Now include all the products for the masala paste in a mill and coarse grind it. Must be rough and not like a paste.
– Now include this masala paste and all the other components for the marinade in a bowl and offer a mix.
– Add the fish pieces and offer a mix well to coat the fish pieces with masala.
– Cover & set aside for 1 hr to marinade.
Process:.
– Heat oil in a pan and location the marinated fish pieces side by side.
– Fry on medium heat for 3 minutes and then flip on the other side. Continue to fry on medium heat on the other side for another 3 minutes.
– Now turn again and fry on low heat for 2-3 minutes on both the sides.
– Eliminate and serve.

– Rohu/Katla/Asian Carp fish pieces( 5-6 huge pieces)- 500 gms.
Marinate with:.
– Salt- 1.25 tsp.
– Turmeric powder-1/ 2 tsp.
– Red Chilli Powder- 1 tablespoon.
– Coriander powder- 1.25 tsp.
– Garam masala powder- 3/4 tsp (Link to our Garam Masala Dish: ).
– Juice of lemon- 2 tsp.
– Ginger garlic paste- 1 tbsp.
– Curry leaves sliced- 2 tbsp.
– Coriander leaves sliced- 2 tablespoon.
– Oil- 2 tbsp.
For frying:.
– Oil- 3 tablespoon.
Preparation:.
– Clean and clean the fish pieces.
– Chop the curry leaves and coriander leaves.
– Add all the items for the marinade specified above. Mix it well and reserved for 1 hr.
Process:.
– Take a frying pan and heat the oil.
– Now put the fish pieces side by side and fry on medium heat for 3 mins. Minimize the heat to low and continue to fry for another 3 minutes.
– Now turn the pieces on the other side and repeat the very same on the other side (on medium heat for 3 mins and after that on low heat for another 3 mins.).
– Turn it once again and continue frying on low heat for 2 minutes more on both sides.
