Looking for a quick, healthy and tasty snack? Try this Maharashtrian unique Dhirde with some chutney!

DHIRDE

Components

1 cup sorghum (jowar) flour
1/4 cup whole wheat flour (gehun ka atta).
1/2 cup gram flour (besan).
1 1/2 tsps garlic-green chillies paste.
1/2 tsp turmeric powder.
1/4 tsp red chilli powder.
Salt to taste.
Oil for drizzling.
Coconut chutney to serve.

Method.

1. Take sorghum flour in a big bowl. Add entire wheat flour, gram flour, garlic-green chilli paste, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, salt and 1 cup water and mix well. Include 1 cup water and mix till well integrated. Include 1/2 cup water and mix till a smooth batter is formed.
2. Heat a non-stick tawa. Sprinkle a little oil and put enough batter and swirl the pan to make a thin disc. Drizzle oil and cook for 1-2 minutes. Flip and prepare the other side for 1-2 minutes also.
3. Serve hot with coconut chutney.
