  1. Let me give a tip Jamie. I make amazing vegetable soups. In fact without cream but with cream fact. How? I put rice, milk and butter in it. That’s all!

  2. I don’t think I’ve ever eaten a chestnut in my life. They are not common in the suburbs of Chicago.

    1. In fact, the american chestnut has been wiped out all over America due to a parasitic tree disease, and you can only admire them e. g. in the Morton Arboretum. The (sweet) chestnuts which you can buy at Christmas are imported from Europe, which was spared by the Blight.

  3. If Brussels sprouts were that cheap here. It costs 4.3 usd per 10-piece pack here.
