    1. British people are so used to it. She’s a famous presenter in UK for a very long time so it’s become so part of her look that we don’t bat an eye if anything she’s familiar.

    3. @SusanB359 When you’re Claudia, you don’t follow the styles, you MAKE them!! Is that really all you picked up from this video about cooking?

  1. Perfect recipe! Thanks a lot, bro and sis! Let’s have Naan Bread for dinner right now! Yummy! Hell yeah!

  2. Starting a “naan” with yogurt and honey, and then finishing it with a knife and fork. Why you gotta troll us like this, Jamie?

    1. Knife and Fork is optional – use your hands give yourself that extra big full scoop up.

  3. SO AFFORDABLE!
    Saving me alot of $$$
No more store bought 8oz $4
Can make this for pennies. Well nickels since the penny going away & stores rounding UP 😒

  4. Buena pinta tiene la comida 😅😊 salut y profit 😅😊

  5. OMG!!!! Watching this video made me so happy. I loooooove Naan. Especially garlic naan. I am going to have to make this recipe. It looks so easy. I remember going to an Indian restaurant where they would slap the naan on a tandoor. Super delish. Thanks, Jamie. 😍🫓🍽

    1. You can make it use it like a pizza crust too, I’ve done it many times as naan or pizza crust. Ratio is about 1:1 greek yogurt/flour. If you don’t have self rising flour, the ratio is 1.5 teaspoons of baking powder and 1/4 teaspoon salt per cup of regular four. I have used thick greek yogurt, thin regular yogurt, AP flour, fine cake flour it usually always works out fine (sometimes you have to add more flour or more yogurt to get the proper texture but 1:1 is a good starting point).

  6. Bread or naan. Don’t call it naan bread. It’s like say bread bread. Don’t get me started on chai tea.

  7. Where is the naan? I have watched the video but did not see anything that remotely resembles naan. There are some roundish thick blocks of cooked flour though. Is that supposed to be the naan?

    1. Unfortunately, yes. I think those are supposed to be the naan… Jaimie’s world tour of ruining food continues on unchecked it seems.

    2. I saw the NAAN it’s EXACTLY what Jamie said and MADE! I read your comment before watching the video and after watching it I KNEW YOU ARE A TOTAL WANKER. GOOD JOB JAMIE now I’m off to make me some NAAN exactly the way YOU SHOWED IT😊

  8. As someone who’s been cooking for myself since I was a teenager, I get why people like Jamie’s quick “cheat” recipes not everyone has the time or energy for traditional prep. But there’s a line between making something accessible and just making it TV-friendly.

This naan is a perfect example. It looks fine, but it’s not real naan not in texture, not in flavor, not in method. Authentic naan is alive it’s yeast, rest, heat, and patience. It’s not meant to be a three-minute side project. The self-raising flour shortcut removes the depth, and the “sponginess” he talks about isn’t the same as that soft-chewy balance you get from a proper dough cooked hot and fast.

Jamie’s great at presentation and energy, but he’s more of a media chef than a real cook these days his recipes are built to trend, not to teach. He simplifies culture into bite-sized entertainment. And yeah, that works on TV, but for people who actually cook, it’s frustrating to see authentic dishes reduced to gimmicks.

I’m not against shortcuts I make my own simplified meals all the time but I own it. I call them what they are: “my version,” not “the real thing.” Food deserves honesty. Culture deserves respect.

    1. In Asia Jamie is what we call a “troll” to the English public…..Jamie wants to see how far he can get without actually knowing how to cook….he is the cowboy of the food world

  9. The bicarbonate of soda in the self raising will reaction with the yogurt when heat is applied giving the rise in the bread. This is the basis for Irish soda bread but you normally use buttermilk rather than yogurt.

  10. I love that it takes only 3 ingredients. Thank you so much. Love it. ❤😊
