Salmon is one of the most convenient proteins to toss on the grill– but getting it ideal can be a difficulty. This Honey Balsamic Salmon dish takes all the uncertainty out. I'm cooking it straight on the pellet grill, where it gets a good crust on the exterior while staying tender and flaky inside.

WHAT MALCOM USED IN THIS DISH:
– Malcom's King Craw Cajun Flavoring
– Killer Hogs TX Brisket Rub
– Thermoworks Thermapen
Honey Balsamic Glazed Salmon (Pellet Grill Recipe).
You get a best crust on the outside, juicy flaky salmon on the inside, and a sticky-sweet glaze that sets everything off.
Active ingredients:.
– 4 salmon fillets (6-8oz fillets).
– Olive oil.
– King Craw Flavoring (or your favorite Cajun-style blend).
For the Honey Balsamic Glaze:.
– 2 green onions (different the whites and the greens), very finely sliced.
– 2 cloves garlic, minced.
– 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar.
– 2 tablespoons honey.
– Salt & black pepper to taste (I utilized TX Brisket Rub).
Instructions:.
1. Pre-heat your pellet grill to 400 ° F
. You desire those high temps to assist build a crust and lock in the wetness.
2. Prep the salmon:.
Lightly oil each fillet and season generously with King Craw spices on tops and sides. Let it sit while the grill heats up.
3. Make the glaze:.
In a little saucepan, sauté the green onion whites and garlic in a little oil up until softened (1– 2 minutes). Add the balsamic, honey, salt, and pepper. Let it simmer up until slightly minimized and syrupy– about 5– 7 minutes. Reserve.
4. Grill the salmon:.
Location the fillets straight on the grates. Prepare for about 13 minutes, or until the internal temp strikes 125 ° F. The outside should have a nice crust at this point.
5. Glaze it:.
Brush the salmon with the honey balsamic glaze and let it cook another 1– 2 minutes up until the glaze sets and your salmon reaches 135 ° F internal.
6. Serve it up:.
Pull it off the grill and let it rest for a couple of minutes before serving. Pairs excellent with roasted veggies, rice, and even a fresh salad.
The honey balsamic glaze is sweet, tasty, and dead simple to make– and it takes this salmon over the top. From start to end up, it's all set in just 15 minutes. Perfect for hectic weeknights, or anytime you want to provide something that looks (and tastes) way fancier than the effort it takes.

Whether it’s meat or seafood. Malcom is the king of bbq grill.
I’ve never heard of a pellet grill before.
I Have to Try This 👍🏻 . Greetings from a German
great vid Malcolm! greetings from Argentina
I liked the video, Malcom and plan on trying this recipe. I’ve been watching you for several years now and enjoy all your videos!
Looks delicious 😊
I wish I could comment with pictures. I did some similar salmon on my Traeger just a few weeks ago and it turned out beautifully!!
I love the skin on salmon also! It helps protect it, but also holds nutrients and sooooo much yummy flavor 😋
Looking forward to the podcast 👍
Cannot wait to try this! I’m scared to death to cook fish. But you break it down so well. Thanks for sharing this!
Malcom is a national treasure.
I just caught a pile of salmon last weekend in Lake Michigan. I need to try this recipe soon!
Your honey balsamic cedar plank salmon in the smoker is one of my favorite recipes from you! Will have to give this a try.
It’s been a few months since I caught an episode of this meister, and he’s slimmed down quite a bit! WTG, Malcom!
You are an absolute legend and have taught me so much about meat and bbq. You are my all time #1 go to on YouTube or the internet. But that ain’t perfectly cooked salmon, and when I see lower 48 salmon, I always feel sad for people eating it. It’s just utterly and absolutely not the same thing as fresh, northern, cold-water, hard-bodied, beautiful red salmon like they were intended to be. It’s not even close.
I love Malcom’s videos. I been watching for years!! Gave me great ideas throughout my college years haha. Cheers man hope all is well.
We made this last night! Followed the recipe for the glaze. It was delicious! Even the kids loved it!
Oh my God. I need this in my life. Right now.
Made this tonight….best salmon I’ve ever had!! Thx so much for sharing. Family loved it
Just made this tonight and it came out amazing! Highly recommend this recipe 🔥🔥🔥
Made this tonight. Not only did the wife and I love it, but our usually-picky 8 yo loved it too! It was her first time trying fish. Only thing I changed was the seasoning – I used Fin and Feather from Plowboys BBQ.
Wife said it was better than our local $40/plate steakhouse, too. And I’m a total amateur at BBQ, so it was surely 95% thanks to the recipe.
Thanks for posting this vid!!
