SOYA PALAK
Ingredients
1 1/2 cups soya pieces
1 medium lot spinach, blanched
2 green chillies
2 tsps oil
1 tsp cumin seeds
2 tsps chopped ginger
2 tsps sliced garlic
2 medium onions
Salt to taste
1/2 tsp Tata Sampann Turmeric Powder
1/2 tsp garam masala powder
Juice of lemon
1/2 cup fresh cream
Ginger, cut into thin strips for garnish
Method
1. Take soya pieces in a bowl and include hot water to it, let it soak for 15-20 minutes.
2. Take spinach in a grinding jar, add green chillies and grind to a fine paste.
3. Heat oil in a nonstick pan, include cumin seeds and when it alters color include ginger and garlic, sauté for a minute.
4. Include onion and cook till golden brown in colour. Include spinach puree, salt and Tata Sampann Turmeric Powder, cook for a minute.
5. Squeeze soya portions and add to spinach. Include 1/2 cup water and cook for 2-3 minutes.
6. Add garam masala powder, mix well Change of the flame include lemon juice and fresh cream, mix well.
7. Serve hot, garnished with ginger strips.
