Baked with Grilled Pineapple-Pepper Relish

Components

1/2 pineapple, cored and sliced into rings
5 tablespoons olive oil
3 jalapeños, halved and seeded (or leave some seeds for more heat).
1 poblano pepper, halved and seeded.
1 big red bell pepper, quartered.
Kosher salt and newly ground black pepper.
1/4 cup sliced fresh cilantro.
1 tablespoon agave syrup.
1 lime, zested and juiced.
8 ounces cream .
Crackers, for serving.

Instructions.

Pre-heat the oven to 375 degrees F. Heat a grill pan or grill over medium heat.

Lightly brush the pineapple with 1 tablespoon of the olive oil and add to the grill pan. Toss the jalapeños, poblanos and bell peppers with the staying 4 tablespoons olive oil and a pinch of salt and pepper and add to the grill pan. Grill the pineapple and peppers until slightly charred on both sides, about 5 minutes. Remove to cutting board. Slice into small dice and contribute to a bowl. Add the cilantro, agave and lime enthusiasm and juice. Toss to combine.

Place the cream cheese in a little oven-to-table baking dish and top with 1 mounded cup of the relish (reserve remaining relish for another usage). Bake till the cheese is soft, 12 to 15 minutes. Serve with crackers.

    one of the industry secrets, which you can do at home…

    many, many restaurants do not use regular water. They use filtered water.

    Makes everything you cook, taste MUCH better (also, you know, healthier).

    Try a simple test. Make two batches of your favorite tea, one with tap water and one with a good spring water.

    I did that for my cousin from Belgium…she kept asking where she could buy the tea I made her…
