Who tf uses 2/3 of an egg. Adjust the recipe to use a whole egg Gordon, you donut
Just use the whole thing it’ll still work
HELP
Games gone
He’s showing you a recipe for one serving. If you are making more than one serving, use more egg, you donut.
adjust it gordon, you sausage
“2/3 of an egg? Huh, what is he gonna do with the rest?”
*2 minutes later*
“Well that was a waste of an egg…”
OH GOD LESS THAN HALF OF AN EGG?!?! WILL THE ECONOMY EVER RECOVER?
@@powertopnabratzy With these prices?? Hell no
@@powertopnabratzy I know. I was like, really, that is what you’re complaining about?
@@chrisgordon6639 It’s not about the price, it’s about the fact that he could have perfectly adapted the recipe to use one whole egg…but didn’t.
You can just fry the third as a chef snack tho
every cook starts some where
excellent observation, sir!
E perché deve iniziare con il distruggere la nostra unica ed inimitabile cucina con obrobri come questo??? Che inizi con la sua di cucina, la nostra non si tocca!!!
Somewhere an Italian burst into tears watching this
Why?
@@poisonhs_ uses 2/3 of an egg – doesn’t do anything with the 1/3 remaining so he wasted it. He also added peas
@@PrabhablyAGoodYouTuber and? The egg is just people picking on anything, and we eat pasta with peas, so idk why people are always whining in the comments
@@poisonhs_ True, like if you can’t invite someone and use 2 eggs and 6 potatoes. People can’t be that dumb.
@@poisonhs_ because gnocchi are pasta. We usually cook them in boiling water before tossing them in a sauce like pesto or ragù. There are some recipes where the gnocchi are put directly in the pan with oil, but are by no means the norm.
Had me in the beginning lost me at peas
Same+!!!!
Peas? Bleh! 😆🤣 Maybe snow peas and shredded carrots for color and sweetness.
Lost me at baking the potatoes, making potato gnocchi with ricotta, using 2/3 of an egg, pan frying instead of boiling the gnocchi …
He’s english you know
I mean.. you could do this WITHOUT the peas so
This reminds me of the time Gordon attempted to make “the perfect burger” but instead made a giant meatball.
it was a great looking burger too
I’ve devised the perfect burger recipe, ground beef, salt, pepper and my secret ingredient Oregano! Fried on a very small amount of ghee.
Served with swiss cheese, onions, arugula, European Mayo and Ketchup, no kraft or major brands.
@@iliadiliad6028you lost me at oregano
@@jasonsawyer2189breadcrumbs and a mixed egg don’t go into an American burger patty.
Pan-frying raw potato dough without boiling leaves the center floury / undercooked — the flour and egg need time to cook through. A quick boil sets the structure and ensures a light, even texture before finishing in the pan.
I thought the same thing and believe me I am no chef! Those gnocchi need to get boiled
i thought that the same too , no boiling odd for him ?
I’m Italian, and while there’s some truth to it, it absolutely doesn’t matter, they’ll be perfectly fine as the main ingredient is already well cooked and the amount of flour is laughable. The fresh “sauce” with the lemon and pecorino will add so much flavor youll never know the diffrence from the boiled version.
The reason many people prefer pan fried gnocchi is that by boiling them you risk making them too soft, and will self destruct in the pan.
Iv got a feeling americans are somehow scared of “undercooked” food. There’s no reason for this if the ingredients are fresh.
He’s got 3 stars – he knows what he’s doing
Bro you don’t know crap about cooking. The potatoes are already cooked, bit of raw flour won’t cause any issues. This way of cooking gnocchi adds extra layers of texture.
I hate close minded “cooks”. Everything is up for interpretation and change.
And there you go, half a serving
you mean a light snack?
He even put in a small about of salt and butter!
Tis why he used half an egg 😉
Every Italian bone in my body is screaming you don’t fry the pasta!!
thank you its not supposed to brown, another shame for gordon
thank god hes a world class chef and not u
So youre not very aware of gnocchi then lol@@GodlyGoku101
just so you know pasta isn’t bound by Italian standards solely.
@@johnrb0213 well he’s agreeing with a world-renowned chef soooo
Gnocchi made with sweet potato is also really nice. Add a bit of freshly grated nutmeg to the dough.
… and do not add peas
“2 or 3 at a time”
*fills entire pan and proceeds to burn them*
He would kick everyone off Hells Kitchen for serving those 😂
It’s very important to save the 1/3 of an egg guys. It’s for making Gordon Ramsay’s famous “1/3 of an Egg Omelet”
the sun is over dallas at 12 noon, in 2 hrs it will bee over los angeles, 1400 mile span, so 700 miles an hr it travels, divide the 700 mph by 60 minutes, it travels at 11.666666 miles a minute, now time how long it takes the sun to set or go beehind an object, its 3 minutes, now multiply 3 minutes times 11.6666666 miles a minute, 35,,, the sun is 35 miles wide, a drastic difference from what they teach our children,,,, are they lying or just guessing,,,, either way they are not trustworthy,,,,,,,, make me king
pc out and God bless
As alternative:
1. Use small egg; or
2. Use 3 potatoes and add more ricotta.
That should be called an “Omelette”
Nah cuz that 1/3 egg would have really screwed up his oily gnocci with peas 😅
He’s showing u a recipe for one serving. If u r making more than one serving, use more egg…
well done mate….you didn’t swear once and it still looks delicious
I still never understood what’s so great about Gordon and how he’s the beat chef.
Good PR
He has good Pr by being a celebrity. And he also has an extremely successful 3 Michelin star restaurant.
@@flotechno3920this probably has something to do with it. Lol
He’s also the guy who bashed restaurants for freezing food yet he has his name frozen food
Frozen food is fine he doesnt hate frozen food
He hates that restaurants charge resturaunt prices for frozen food@@Dirtroadtravler
We need to support small chefs like him
Indeed. And all other struggling chefs like him
He’s a celebrity chef that cooks all around the world. Far from small.

@@Starboy-mp2ci r/woosh
@starboy-mp2ci I was being sarcastic?
I’m going to Gordon’s restaurant to ask for 2/3 of the Wellington.
He should’ve blanched the gnocchi for 30 seconds to a minute to make them softer before frying them
Gordinio you started out to be the perfect Italian .
The moment we see the pan you switched back to British Gordon . Mama Mia
Ok so not just me who thought of cooking it in water first???
Yes, you startene good, then….not the way we use in Italy
What a chef , so polite no abusive word . Hope he becomes great chef .
He also gives tough love on kitchen nightmares.
You’re kidding, right??😅
Do you know he been cooking humans?
😅
