  1. Jamie you’re a legend mate – you have so much love for good food and it’s rubbed off. I could just about knock up beans on toast until I got given your simply Jamie book. I think you’re a belting dad and all, the vids where you’re in the flavour factory with your kids getting them involved and helping out – heart warming. Keep well ! And thank you 😊

  2. I love your recipes, your enthusiasm & the way your energy keeps going, even in hard times Jamie….. Your a star 😁😊

  3. A very interesting and hearty soup,so good for cold winter days..or nights ❤

  4. This was a regular of our home when I was a child, Mum would make a pea and ham soup with the stock and the leftover meat from the ham hock after we had used the bulk of the meat from the ham with potatoes and fresh peas and a parsley sauce. The soup would last a couple of days, and might have other veg thrown in on the second day along with some spuds, bulking it out further. My Farther continued to do this even after the death of my mother. I’m a Vegetarian now but I still have very fond memories of the family meals both my Mum and Dad would prepare, you brought back memories with this one, thanks Jamie.

This will be the next one. If we all ate like this, the nation would be so much healthier, unburdening the NHS and improving our lives.
