MATAR MUSHROOM BHARTA

Active ingredients

1 cup frozen green peas (matar).
10-12 button mushrooms.
2 tbsps oil.
1 tsp cumin seeds.
1 medium onion, carefully chopped.
1 tablespoon finely sliced ginger.
1 tbsp carefully sliced garlic.
Salt to taste.
1/4 tsp turmeric powder.
1 tsp coriander powder.
1 tsp red chilli powder.
1/4 cup tomato puree.
Ginger strips for garnishing.

Approach.

1. Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add cumin seeds and let them change colour. Add onion and sauté till clear. Add ginger and garlic and sauté till fragrant.
2. Carefully chop mushrooms in a food processor and contribute to the pan and mix well. Include salt, turmeric powder, coriander powder and red chilli powder and mix well. Add tomato puree and mix well. Cover and cook on medium heat till the mushrooms are done.
3. Add green peas and blend well and cook till the peas are heated up through.
4. Transfer onto a serving plate, garnish with ginger strips and serve hot.
