    I love Georgia, it is an amazing country. Food, wine, nature, sightseeing, people, and culture are incredible. Fruits, vegetables herbs, and spices are super flavorful and taste so different from ones you can find in the Western countries. It’s a real gem of the world.

  7. When Jamie’s friend and restaurant chef mentioned coriander, I instantly remembered the pots of basil at my grandparents’ house in the village, the smell was divine. In Greece, dried oregano is something we use a lot.

  14. Georgia has unbelievably reach culture for a such small nation. Georgian cuisine is a fine reflection of it’s culture. I fell in love with it when had to start cooking while my wife was expecting our daughter. 😀 Now our daughter is familiar with many Georgian dishes and when she wants me to cook one of them she just says – cook me something from uncle Zurab. ( My favorite Georgian cook on YouTube)
    Jamie is going to have steep learning curve. ☺
