INSTANT BAJRA UTTAPPAM

Active ingredients

3/4 cup pearl millet (bajra) flour
1/2 cup semolina (suji).
1 cup yogurt.
1 medium onion, carefully sliced.
2 tablespoons carefully sliced green capsicum.
1 teaspoon carefully sliced ginger.
2 green chillies, carefully sliced.
Salt to taste.
1 teaspoon mustard seeds.
1 teaspoon cumin seeds (jeera).
6-8 curry leaves.
1 teaspoon baking soda.
Oil as required.

Approach.

1. Mix together pearl millet flour, semolina and yogurt in a bowl.
2. Include onion, capsicum, ginger, green chillies, salt, mustard seeds and cumin seeds with some water. Add curry leaves and baking soda, mix well and rest for 5 minutes.
3. Heat some oil on a non-stick tawa. Put a ladleful of batter on it, spread out into an uttappam and cook till equally done from both the sides.
4. Serve hot with green coconut chutney.
