I would try that!! New food for me. Wow 💜
Yum! I need to make that again! It’s been too long!!
Did you see all of that food on the plate?? I got full just looking at it. 😊
I challenge Guy to bring DDD to Piegon Forge Tn where Downtown Flavortown is located to try some of the local eateries
Night Angel
Now that looks phenomenal!
Puerto Rican beans are the absolute best! There is a marriage between sauce and beans that results in the creaminess that GF mentions.
Wow that looks yummy
I wish there was a heart button to click
Thank you for delicious food👍
Awesome & fun to see a dish a lot of people would never hear about
I’m Mexican, but PR, DR, and Cuban style arroz con abichuelas are BOMB. So hard to beat. 👍
Couldn’t agree more. They win in the rice & beans department
@BooksBeautyLifestyle Absolutely.
Pastelon is one of the best PR dishes. It’s the meat mixture that has so much flavor. I could literally eat the meat (picadillo) just by itself. Years ago I found a pastelon recipe from Emeril Lagasse, and made it for a family gathering, and it was 1000% amazing and everyone loved it. The plantains have to be ripe though. Don’t buy unripe ones, it won’t be the same.
Puerto Rican food is the best food in the world
That looks like a interesting combination of food lol the lasagna looks very interesting as well but the beans could do without the pigs feet for me lol 🤷 well done chef, everything looks amazing though 👏👏👏👏👏
Pig feet is not for everybody. Most people use smoked ham.
This food do look super yummy. Thanks for sharing. God bless. ❤️💛💙💜💗
I Love this food 😋
It’s lighter than pasta of course it’s a banana
“I really like it, it’s lighter than pasta.” Yeah, because that’s why you eat fried plantains layered with beef and cheef.
I’m proud to be PUERTO RICAN
Of all reasons to be here, I’m here because I need to do research for a Horace x Guy Fieri ff. I hate myself
