Oil – 1 tbl spoon
Shallots – 15
Tomato – 2
Fenugreek – ¼ teaspoon
Coriander seeds – 2 tbl spoon
Dry chilli – 6 to 8
Small piece of ginger
Garlic cloves – 8
Pepper – ½ teaspoon
Cumin seeds – ½ teaspoon
Gingelly oil – 3 tbl spoon
Mustard – ½ teaspoon
Chopped shallots – 15
Curry leaves
Turmeric powder
Salt
Tamarind juice of lemon size

  1. Both the recipes are good, except for one ingredient – It is better to avoid ginger in both. It will come out very well, without unnecessary masala smell of the ginger. It goes well with meats like chicken and mutton, but not with fish.
