  1. I will never understand people who literally pull the bit from the Simpson’s, where Skinner goes “Am I out of Touch? No it’s the kids who are wong.”. The people running so many of the restaurants in Kitchen Nightmares, especially this restaurant just keep going “People keep sending my food back, is there something wrong with it? No, my food is perfect, it’s all those customers who are wrong.”.

I will never understand how a person can be so dense. I question what I did wrong when one person critiques something I did/do, let alone several.

  2. In November of 2013, just 4 months after Gordon Ramsay’s visit and 6 months before the “Kitchen Nightmares” episode aired, Bella Luna closed its doors for good. The reason wasn’t a drop off in business, at least not according to owner Rosaria Scollo. She said they were doing better than ever, with three times the number of patrons, but unfortunately, there was an issue with the restaurant’s lease. According to the landlord, Bella Luna was multiple months in arrears on the rent, so they put the building up for sale.

Had Bella Luna stayed open, it might have faced yet another legal hassle. A few weeks after its closure, the state police discovered that the restaurant had been serving alcohol with an expired liquor license. Although the license was up to date at the time of closure — and during Ramsay’s visit, as well — there had been a few weeks during the preceding May where Bella Luna was out of compliance. Had the restaurant remained open, it was possible that the state could have chosen to suspend or revoke the liquor license in punishment for the previous violation.

    1. Such a shame.. I hope they find another place to cook and serve this delicious food. Everything’s expensive in the US these days, but even a little place (or takeaway) would be enough to make people happy with a nice meal! I wish them good luck with what they’re doing or going to do…! ☮luvfromholland 💟

    2. is Nicole still alive? Sounds like she’s going downhill pretty bad here

    3. @@GreenEyedMan06yeah I’m worried. I know Pennsylvania is no picnic. The pills kill and the mills mill

  3. When you’re walk in cooler looks like the bottom of a dumpster you can’t say that you’re doing alright.

  4. Interesting episode! I watch this all day while cooking and convincing myself I’m the next MasterChef and viral sensation…

  5. ”Its not the food thats the problem here, its the community”. Really? Is it really?

  6. Never ceases to amaze me how shocked these people are when he criticizes the food. 😵‍💫

    1. @@Advaith_bruhthe upload is 2 days old but the episode looks to have been filmed in 2009ish maybe

  7. The woman just passes the blame onto everyone else. A lazy mother leads to two lazy sons.

    1. That’s what I was thinking lmao. That is the worst answer you can give.

  8. it kills me how every restaurant on this show says the food is good, something else is the problem. i’ve bought homemade tamales out of a cooler from a random auntie in a grocery store parking lot… forget the decor, servers, etc, if the food is good people will come eat it!!

  9. “…and an owner in denial.”
“I’m not in denial, I’m not.”

Denial about being in denial is honestly the funniest thing and how it goes 99% of the time.
