Why this is called ‘Buddha Bowl’? By name, i mistook it to be no garlic no onion food
It represents a balanced meal, and balance is a key Buddhist concept, from the story of Buddha carrying his food bowl to fill it with whatever bits of vegetarian food villagers would offer him. Please note A Buddha Bowl if it is a Buddha Bowl it should be Falahari and Vegan, hence the millet (gluten free/falahari reason) instead of Rice and soyabean Tofu instead of Paneer (vegan reason). Par aajkal toh Buddha bowl ke naam pe pork chicken mutton bhi sell karte hain calling it Buddha Bowl, which is not actually! 🙏
