  2. I am definitely going to try them both. What is the vegetable used next to thee potato in the second receipe? Looks like a celeriac (is that correct english?

    1. The UK calls them Swedes, in the US we call them Rutabagas. (Corrected.)

    2. @johnf.kennedy5454they are not very valued or appreciated and are usually peeled and cooked mixed and mashed equally with carrots. 😊

  3. What I like about Jamie is that he makes cooking fun for home cooking. Technically it may not always be what the culinary experts say is traditional or how it should be done. But he thinks about the planet and foodwaste, also health. He combines ingredients that anyone can get and makes tasty and healthy food out of it. Just what a lot of families need. No arrogance.

  6. I replayed the first pie over and over, been using a lot of those ingredients but he takes it to a whole other level…and he is such fun, great to have him in the background when having to reluctantly spend time rustling up some grub

  9. Lovely recipes! But before serving I would let these one pot dishes rest for about 20 mins, it is still really hot but not so sloppy when it’s turned out. ❤
