ब्रेड पोरीचाधू | Bread Porichathu | Sanjeev Kapoor Khazana

These golden brown and crisp fritters are not just easy to make but taste definitely wonderful to taste! An excellent tea time treat for definitely anybody and everybody.

PORICHATHU

Ingredients

4 white bread pieces, cut into triangles
1 1/2 cups refined flour
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
2 tsps black sesame seeds
1/2 tsp sugar
Salt to taste
Oil for deep frying
Coffee for serving

Technique

1. Take improved flour in a bowl. Add turmeric powder, black sesame seeds, sugar, salt and blend well.
2. Add 1 1/4 cups water and blend well to form a smooth batter.
3. Heat adequate oil in a kadai. Dip the bread pieces in the ready batter and slide into hot oil.
4. Deep fry till golden brown and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper and serve hot with coffee.
