PYAAZ AUR BESAN KE WADE

Ingredients

2 medium onions
1 1/2 cups gram flour (besan).
Oil for deep frying.
1 cup fresh mint leaves.
1 cup fresh coriander leaves.
4 green chillies, chopped.
Salt to taste.
1 tsp red chilli powder.
1/2 tsp turmeric powder.
2 tsps coriander powder.
1 tsp cumin powder.
1 tsp baking powder.

Technique.

1. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai.
2. Slice onions in a chopper and put into a large glass bowl.
3. Chop mint leaves, coriander leaves, green chillies in the chopper and add to the onions in the bowl.
4. Add salt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, gram flour and baking powder and blend well. Sprinkle a little water and mix well.
5. Drop spoonsful of the mix into the hot oil and deep fry till golden.
6. Drain pipes on absorbent paper and serve hot.
