KHABOOS
Active ingredients
1 tsp instant dry yeast
1 tsp salt
1 tsp castor sugar
2 cups improved flour (maida) + for cleaning
1/4 cup milk
1 tbsp oil
Approach
1. Take 1 cup water in a bowl. Add immediate dry yeast, salt, castor sugar and mix well.
2. Take fine-tuned flour in a large bowl. Include the yeast mixture and mix it well with the help of a wooden spoon till whatever is well combined. Include milk and knead with the help of your hand till a soft dough is formed. Add oil and continue to knead till smooth. Cover with a wet muslin cloth and reserved to prove for 1-1 1/2 hours.
3. Knockback the dough, knead it gently, divide the dough into equal medium portions, shape each portion into a ball.
4. Dust the worktop with some flour, position a dough ball on it and roll it into a disc of medium thickness.
5. Heat a tawa, place the disc on it. Cook on medium heat for 2 minutes, flip and prepare the opposite for 2 minutes or till it puffs up while pushing it gently with the aid of thick fabric. Take it off the heat.
6. Usage as a base for shawarmas.
