– 1 lb ground beef
– 1 pound chorizo
– 1 cup Bread crumbs
– 2 eggs a little beaten
– 1 jalapeño pepper diced
– 1/2 red bell pepper, diced
– 1/2 yellow onion, diced
– 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
– 2 Tablespoons Malcom's Grande Gringo Mexican spices (or your preferred Mexican-style spices).
– 1 Tablespoon Mexican-style hot sauce.
– 1 Tablespoon Maggi seasoning sauce.

For the Glaze:.
– 1 cup ketchup.
– 1/2 cup brown sugar.
– 2 teaspoon Grande Gringo spices.
– 4-5 dashes Mexican-style hot sauce.
– 2 teaspoons Maggi seasoning sauce.

  5. I’ve done a few different versions, always a hit here in the Motor City!

    1. Maggi sauce is a seasoning sauce for use in things and as a marinade. It tastes…. like Maggi. Hard to describe, it’s fermented wheat. Seems to be pretty popular in a lot of places in the world, but I’ve never really thought about it outside of some quick googling to try to describe the flavor. I guess think of it as a staple the same way soy sauce is, or Worcestershire sauce.
