Smoked Camel Tenderloin… Never Thought I’d Cook This!

I have actually prepared a great deal of meat in my day– however I never attempted thought I 'd smoke camel. However my butcher gave me a camel tenderloin and I kept it in my freezer for a while due to the fact that I do not understand anything about cooking camel! And truthfully, I was afraid it would have an odd taste … but I finally tried it and it ended up way better than I expected.

– Camel Tenderloin from The Butcher Shoppe Pensacola FL
– Malcom's Gyro Hero Seasoning
– Al Frugoni Chimi Churri Spices
– 5" Flexible Curved Boning Knife
– Thermoworks DOT

– 12" Brisket Knife

Smoked Camel Tenderloin Recipe

Components:
– Whole camel tenderloin, trimmed
– 3 Tablespoons Kosher salt
– 2 Tablespoons Malcom's Gyro Hero Spices
– 2 Tablespoons Al Frugoni's Chimichurri spices

Guidelines:
1. Start by trimming any silver skin or sinew from the camel tenderloin. This ensures a more tender bite and better seasoning penetration.
2. Kindly season the tenderloin all over with kosher salt. Let it rest at space temperature for thirty minutes to 1 hour. This assists to boost taste and improve texture.
3. Preheat a pellet cigarette smoker to 275 ° F. 4. After the dry brine, apply an even layer of Malcom's Gyro Hero seasoning followed by a coat of Chimichurri flavoring.
5. Place the seasoned tenderloin directly on the cigarette smoker. Cook up until the internal temperature reaches 125-130 ° F for medium-rare.
6. Get rid of the tenderloin from the pit and let it rest for a minimum of 15 minutes before slicing.
7. Slice versus the grain and serve it up.
