  2. I just recently made a homemade slaw dressing that’s similar. The onions and relish are new to me. I may have to try that.

    1. I tried that while back. By the second day it was so bitter i couldn’t eat it. Had to throw it away.

    You left out the MSG.

Malcolm, family, and friends are outstanding, Dukes 1cup, App Cider1/4cup, 1/4cup sugar,….Pinch celery seed, tbl of salt and pepper , 1/4cup milk……………..if your going hot spicy pulled pork, balance with can of drained pineapple tidbits…………..Malcom ur the best been learning and watching for a decade so happy about your success ………that milk or cream for a couple hours prep makes it great for only two days

    1. Grandma would also put in a bit of crushed caraway seed. And crush that celery seed and black pepper too, or buy the powder. Last thing you want to do is get a seed caught in your teeth or gut. Also, I think it changes the texture. Makes it smoother and creamier. Put the vinegar and spices on the slaw overnight to come together, THEN drain off the extra liquid BEFORE you put the mayo on so it’s not too wet.

  6. This guy is a national treasure. Anytime I try one of his recipes, it instantly goes onto the “Make that again” list.
