Do not we all like it? This quick, simple and scrumptious rice preparation made Chinese style, with specific veggies and spices is flavourful and for this reason frequently purchased.



1 little carrot, peeled and sliced
1/2 cup boiled Edamame beans
1 small green capsicum, sliced
3 cups boiled short grain rice
4 tbsps oil
3 tbsps finely sliced garlic
2 tbsps carefully chopped ginger
3 spring onion bulbs, finely chopped
Salt to taste
Squashed black peppercorns to taste
1/2 tablespoon soy sauce
2 tbsps carefully chopped spring onion greens + for garnish
1 tsp vinegar


1. Heat oil in a wok. Add garlic, ginger and spring onion bulbs and sauté for 1-2 minutes.
2. Include carrot, Edamame beans, green capsicum and sauté for 2-3 minutes. Include cooked rice, salt, crushed black peppercorns and soy sauce and blend well.
3. Add spring onion greens, vinegar, and mix till well integrated.
4. Serve hot garnished with spring onion greens.
