Crazy how the chef cut that lamb and seen it was close to be raw and still served it to Gordon Ramsay of all people.
To be fair to that chef he was one of very few Gordon has critiqued that owned up to his mistakes, if I recall he was working like 60 hours and only getting 400 a week and his title was executive chef. Think he was just burnt out.

some of the chefs are the owners, but some of them have no say at the produce they use. sometimes you cant save frozen or old food no matter how hard you try. you also need to remember that some of these chefs just stopped trying to reason with the owners and are just there for a paycheck

Ain’t no one going to an Applebees complaining about the quality of the escargot or even crab cakes. These places fail because they’re charging $35-50 a plate and serving food WORSE than a fucking Applebees.

@@hawks8470 In Sweden, we often have Chinese or Pizzerias with immigrants from the Mediterranean have “Swedish dishes” we call husmanskost or just average everyday dishes Swedes eat at home. And it is always frozen shitt! I am not sure who orders it and why. They can make it at home better and cheaper.

Institutional like that lady says at 13:00 is the best way to describe most of the food Gordon spits out. The sort of level most people get used to; hospital food, bad kebab shops, that sort of thing.
Even a bad kebab shop is okay after 8 pints, the food Gordon has to eat is definitely worse 😅

Probably why there was a huge gap between the most recent season and the previous one. Originally he said he would never do another one because he was ill so many times after eating.
