  1. Moroccan saffron is the best in the world, and that’s what makes Moroccan cuisine different and sets it apart from others🇲🇦♥️

    1. @@DSCo-fj1eo Actually it is classified as a spice. Not herb. Iran is known for its high quality saffron and is the world’s largest producer.

  2. If you had a flower with 6 strands, why wouldn’t you separate it from the others, let it go to seed and use it to create bigger harvest yields with more strands? 😢

    1. Maybe more strands means less flavor per strand therefore lowering the quality of the product.

  3. Well obviously they have no idea about saffron, the finest saffron gets harvested before sunrise in flower bud form, and it requires a cold dry climate, the finest saffron comes from east Iran.

  4. Hello chef I am your biggest fan, and I hope to meet you one day, hamza, from morocco

    1. Do you have any solution to meet you, chef? Thank you or contact you plz

  5. It was growing on the field next to my grandfather house in Poland mountains 😀

  6. Saffron is known as originally coming from Iran and the best quality of it comes still from Iran (if it is not fake, in the name of Iran!)
In Iran we use it in many different meals and know it also as a medicine. Its anti-Depression property is not only traditionally, but also scientifically proven and we believe, one should be careful about the dosage of saffron he/she uses daily, if you take it more than enough, you may not be able to stop laughing! 😊

  7. Спасибо, Гордон! Впервые увидела, как изготавливают специю “шафран”. Очень кропотливая работа. Теперь понятно, почему он так дорого стоит. Merry Christmas! 🌲🎅😊

  8. Saffron is indeed expensive to buy. I like it very much and is one of my favourite spices. Perhaps, the most well known dish that uses saffron is paella of course. Infusing the rice with that very special saffron flavour that makes the paella so special. I am interested to see how Chef Ramsay uses it as it of course, not limited to ‘saffron rice’ or paella by any means.
