I have been looking for this for years. I am a single person who lives far from family. I work in healthcare and only get Thanksgiving day off so I am often doing Thanksgiving for just me.
You can’t even visit your family on Thanksgiving?
The same in Retail, we aren’t allowed to take off from mid-November through until after New Year’s around the 2nd week in January to cover all the returns/exchanges customers make, and after our seasonal temp employees are done, which is usually a few days after Christmas.
The same here…. For years I was alone due to Duty or the Job and now divorced.. Now this is something I can do….

“Thanksgiving” is my favorite meal. Even though it’s just my husband and me, I love leftovers and make a meal for 4-5.
This year we are spending 3 weeks abroad and we leave Saturday the 28th. I only eat white meat, so I cook a turkey leg for my hubs. This is just enough food for two days and not be wasteful.
My husband and I always have Thanksgiving in our Airstream trailer in wine country, just the two of us. This is the PERFECT menu, I will definitely be doing this!! YAY.
