    1. Yorkshire pudding batter is usually made with water and milk. Just replace the beer with equivalent quantity of water, or use non-alcoholic beer if you avoid alcohol

    2. @maggiedonaldson8432my very british grand mother would siagree, its amde with milk, but if your not using milk, use liquid. Dairy replacements dont work well.

  1. I wish I could afford all the ingredients to make these recipes. Expensive, in Canada the price of ordinary food is unbearable. Don’t know how we will survive this
Jamie and Mom I throughly enjoyed your video. Keep on cooking.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

    1. We can do it, go to a butcher for sausages, cheaper than grocers, flour from bulk barn, eggs from your local farmers market hutterites. Totally doable. Love from Calgary.

    2. @hedgecraft559butcherers being cheaper than a grocery store? 😂
      Wild.
Here in Germany, you pay DOUBLE if you buy anything from a butchers shop. We have hardly any real german butchers left either. Most of them sold to some shitty halal shop that sells absolute crap

  2. Buena pinta tiene la comida 😅😊 saludos y profit 😅😊

  3. Did you ever do a simple cheese twists recipe with puff pastry on one of your telly programs? If so, would love you to post it.

  4. Seems pretty tasty and inexpensive. Just sausage eggs and flour and onion. Looks delicious!!! Imma try it.

  5. If only I could get proper British sausages here in Canada. I miss them. Toad in the hole with our sausages just isn’t worth the effort unfortunately.

  6. Nice you’re working with your Mum. I used to cook with my Mum before she passed on…

  7. That roast looks perfectly caramelized with such a rich, glossy finish – classic sunday comfort 🍖🍖🔥

    1. You mean *maillard reactioned.
Mest can’t caramelize, only things containing sugar can. Browning of meat isn’t caramelisation, its maillard reaction.

  8. The gravy looks delicious but I think I’ll pass on the toad in a hole 😮but the sticky date pudding has me drooling

    1. he def said 14 my jaw hit the floor i dont buy that many in a whole month lol

  9. Thank you and your family for opening y’all kitchen for us. I learn so much. Thank y’all 🙂
