Lemon Pepper Tenderloin Pasta

Ingredients.
Lemon Pepper Spices:.
1 1/2 teaspoons grated lemon passion, left at space temperature for thirty minutes to dry.
1 1/2 teaspoons newly broke black pepper.
1 teaspoon kosher salt.
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder.
1/4 teaspoon mustard powder.
1/4 teaspoon onion powder.
Pasta:.
Kosher salt.
1 pound bucatini.
2 tablespoons olive oil.
8 tablespoons salted butter.
2 pounds beef tenderloin, cubed into bite-size pieces.
1 1/2 cups grated Parmesan or pecorino, plus more for serving.
Minced fresh parsley, for serving.
Instructions.
For the lemon pepper spices: Mix the lemon enthusiasm, pepper, salt, garlic powder, mustard powder and onion powder in a bowl. Set aside.
For the pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Include the bucatini and cook for 1 to 2 minutes under the suggested time. Reserve 2 cups of the pasta water. Drain pipes the pasta and reserved.
Heat the olive oil and 2 tablespoons of the butter in a big frying pan over medium-high heat. Season the tenderloin with 1 tablespoon of the lemon pepper flavoring. Add the steak to the frying pan and cook, stirring as required, until wanted doneness, 4 to 5 minutes for medium rare. Remove to a plate and return the frying pan to the heat.
Include 1 1/2 cups of the reserved pasta water to the skillet. Add the remaining lemon pepper spices, the pasta and staying 6 tablespoons butter to the skillet. Stir to integrate and let the pasta start to simmer. Begin including the Parmesan a handful at a time, tossing the pasta with each addition. Get rid of from the heat and continue to toss the pasta up until well covered, thinning with the extra pasta water if needed. Divide the pasta into bowls. Top with the steak and garnish with the parsley. Serve with more Parmesan on the side.

She didn’t season the pasta, right? She only added the salty water, probably salted butter and the lemon pepper beef. I don’t know if that’s enough 😅

If i have left over pasta, i quite often just put a pile of cold, left over pasta on a plate. Sprinkle with garlic powder, a little Parmesan cheese, and a little water and microwave it till it’s warm (can loosely cover with a paper towel to steam). Not super seasoned, but it’s tasty!
Pasta is really a foundation to me. The pasta is a canvas for the other ingredients, it doesn’t need to have much flavor on it’s own.
I know people will disagree with me, but it’s just how i use it.

Parmesan cheese is usually pretty salty and im guessing she preseasoned the pasta water because it was already sitting in the pot when she started filming
