Components

1/4 cup processed cheese sauce, such as Cheez Whiz
2 tablespoons salted butter
1/2 little yellow onion, sliced
1/2 little red bell pepper, sliced
3 white mushrooms, sliced
2 teaspoons steak spices
8 ounces ground beef
Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
2 pieces provolone
1 tablespoon spicy mustard
1 kaiser roll, toasted

Directions

Pre-heat a frying pan or big skillet over medium-high heat.

Place the cheese sauce in a pan over low heat to warm gradually.

Melt the butter on one half of the frying pan. Add the onion, peppers and mushrooms to the buttered side of the frying pan and toss. Season with 1 teaspoon of the steak spices, then let prepare up until they start to caramelize and darken, 8 to 10 minutes.

Meanwhile, divide the beef in half and roll each half into a ball. Spray the beef with the remaining teaspoon steak spices, together with some salt and pepper. Include the beef to the frying pan and, utilizing the back of a spatula, smash the beef into two thin patties. Prepare for 2 to 3 minutes per side.   5. I guess a lot of places call a hamburger a steak burger so technically you’re right but for me thats just a cheeseburger, 86 the provolone and fungus and add jalapenos with more whiz

  9. firstly, metal spatula on a non-stick griddle, touching the ground meat like it was a bomb, or poisonous, squishing the burgers after putting them on the grill, sticking like crazy. once flipped, squishing out all the flavour/moisture .And the amount of stuff on top of those burgers… how yah gonna pick them up? But good idea just over the top.
