  2. That looks amazing 👏 I would omit or swap out the bell peppers because I’m allergic to them.

  3. The best part about this is that you can swap out the Paprika for any spice you feel like….Cajun,Curry Powder,BBQ Rub,Five Spice Powder,Harissa Powder,Ras El Hanout,Za’atar Spice…the list goes on and on just have a look at the spice racks in your supermarket next time your out shopping

  4. Really like this simple recipe a lot. Will definitely give it a try. Two comments though (one being a question):

    1. I would like to see this with a side of mint peas & maybe even a small serve of carrots (yes I know, that would make it 6 or even 7 ingredients, not 5 – I do get it, but it would be incredibly tasty though!).

    2. I really like the idea of the chicken in the oven dripping on the veggies, but would dread cleaning the top tray. Anyone have any useful cleaning tips/hacks on this?

    Other than that, I think this recipe is a winner. Simple & flavoursome!

    Jaime is without doubt, my favourite of all the celebrity chefs. His recipes are typically not only very tasty, but also usually quite simple & easy to implement in the real world on a regular basis. Always liked that about him. 👍

  5. Made this for dinner this evening. Thank you Jamie Oliver for the inspiration! It was fantastic. My bird took a bit longer to roast even with splitting it down the back. It took about 1hr and 10 min. It looked exactly like yours though and it was perfectly juicy. And it tasted and smelled amazing.

  8. Oh Jamie! Since I lost my wife to cancer six years ago, I have struggled with cooking for one. When I saw this Paprika Roast Chicken videoI thought, I can adapt this, so I made it with four chicken thighs and shortened the time by about five minutes or so. It was FABULOUS and will feed me again tomorrow. Except for the adjustment to less protein, I changed nothing. Why would I? Thank you so much.
