He inherited this hotel via “mommy money” in this case and he had to close the place in 2019 cause he threatened a judge 😂😂😂
Phillip couldn’t keep it straight & went to prison after threatening a judge, went into debt & had to put the Hotel up for sale in 2016, eventually closing in 2019 & being converted into an Apartment Building. Oof.
Couldn’t have happened to a nicer person.

it’s so sad. As someone in recovery, we’ve all been here. It’s pretty frightening that he was this sick on camera the entire time. I do think the producers were aware and really did try to help him.

I was coming into work off like 10 hydromorphone pills daily and just couldn’t be bothered to do more than the bare minimum. def let a lot of people down for many years but thankfully I finally figured it out

As an alcoholic myself, it’s plain as day, he’s loaded every frame he’s shown in lol.
Yeah, the worst was knowing something was wrong with your face/eyes/aura. You look different, and I don’t know why, but people can see it and treated you nervously. Add on the paranoia, and the ups and downs from DTs and binging. I miss being drunk, but I don’t miss that.
Philip has to be one of very few people I’ve witnessed and just come to the conclusion “Yep, this guy is just evil. Bad human being. Not deserving of any of this, and should be jailed for life.”

I’m an alcoholic myself, used to own a successful art business, lived in a paid off house with a Porsche in the driveway while a successful line cook for Boulder Tap House in Mankato, Minnesota. Lost it all except the Porsche that my grandma put in her garage.
Now very big issue with being an alcoholic is the worst medical condition I’ve ever experienced was “alcohol withdrawal!” It’s very dangerous to stop cold turkey and can even kill a person!

@@NYXover9000I drank a little on the job due to severe alcohol withdrawal. I didn’t know what alcohol withdrawal was until it was too late. It got to where at work if I was completely sober I was in bad shape with shakes, hallucinating, not walking good. I’d have to have 4 shots of vodka just to function! Horrible life! Finally I requested detox however I had to surrender my job, sell my house for dirt cheap, surrender my mn business license. Yeah alcohol withdrawal is the worst thing I’ve ever experienced!
As someone about to go into detox/rehab, this episode hit hard
