    1. I LOVE ME SOME PIMENTO CHEESE, and on every way you mentioned it! My favorite way though, is as a grilled cheese! Literally the BEST GRILLED CHEESE you’ll ever have! 😋

    2. How many pounds of cheddar cheese do I need for 2 cups of grated cheddar?

  1. One of my favorites since I was a kid. Always love a pimiento cheese sandwich.😊

  2. So glad to see you make this. It’s exactly like what I make. We put it on crackers. I think it’s perfect. Someone I know says it shouldn’t have cream cheese in it! I’m not sure how they make it. Their loss. 😁

  3. If you can find one of the newer lower-heat jalapeño peppers, you can get more flavor and some heat (but not too much, even if you add a lot). I found them this summer from Will’s Eden Farm and kept bags of them ready for dicing — they’re amazing.

  4. It’s great on celery! If I make it, the jalapeño peppers will be left out—cannot tolerate the least bit of heat. But this recipe looks like something many will love….😉

    1. @B Hallmark: I am the same way, I cannot tolerate any kind of heat at all. I did just make this and it is so good! I added about a tablespoon of horseradish to it and it is so delicious. I wish I had some sourdough bread to put it on toast. I have whole-grain toast so that will have to do. Great idea to put it on celery… Thanks! 😃

  5. Great recipe!!! I always add a bit of either jalapeños or Serrano peppers in mine.
    🌶️👍

  6. My grandmother always took grated sharp cheddar cheese , chopped jalapeños, red pepper to taste and mayo. Mix together. Be careful not to put to much red pepper. If to dry add some jalapeños juice. Let sit in fridge then taste to make sure not to hot. Makes great roll ups, sandwiches or dip

  7. My mom used to make this when I was young but she only ever just used mayonnaise. I love the addition of cream cheese! I just made this and it’s amazing! Thank you for sharing this recipe😃

  8. Every time we make it I can’t rest until it’s gone. Crackers, sandwiches, dip, or just lick it off a spoon — it’s all good!!!

  9. I’ve always loved homemade pimento cheese. Try pimento cheese, deli ham, and red onion on grilled sourdough.👍✔🏁😎

  10. I love topping my burger with it. We also put it on those little hard toasted bread round. I don’t know what you call them, but that is guuuud! Extra sharp cheddar is a must. And Duke’s mayo is a must!

  11. I like to make a cheese ball with it (& a few other cheeses) by putting it in a mold for the holidays. My mom had one shaped like a bell.

  12. I add a teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce and Frank’s hot sauce. But your recipe is how I have made it for decades. Delish!!

  13. A grilled pimento cheese omg oh so good ! I love pimento cheese any way you eat it 😋

  14. I guess I’ve made it every way possible. Chopped pickles, bacon bits, onion, jalapeños. I like a little cream cheese. I also like a spoonful of Worcestershire. Crackers, carrot slices, celery, and a big sandwich with a tomato and maybe a slice of ham. Mmm
