  1. I haven’t tried this recipe yet, but when I’ve made pancakes from scratch, I can taste the baking soda and I’ve made them according to directions. Any suggestions?

    1. Do you add any vanilla or (as my mom did growing up) lemon extract? Just a touch (or a decent glug for vanilla) really elevates the flavor and takes away that straight baking ingredients sensation. Or adding in a little browned & slightly cooled butter to the wet ingredients.

Also try letting your mixture sit for a few minutes before you start cooking, I think that helps the acidic buttermilk or lemon juice activate the baking soda & powder a bit.

Just some ideas, hope you find a recipe that works for you!! ❤️🥞❤️

  2. Jesus is coming soon! Everyone please make sure you know Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour! Please don’t be left behind! Repent and accept Jesus! JESUS LOVES YOU! John 3:16, Revelation 20:15

  3. Nice video . I just made some from the box and I added ripe bananas. It was delicious. I’ll try this soon.

  4. Corn chowder with other veggies, like onion, peppers, carrots, celery. No meat.

  5. My MIL taught me to make homemade pancakes over fifty years ago. I haven’t bought a box of pancake mix since. We don’t add the sugar bc syrup or jam gives enough sweetness for our taste. We also use all buttermilk. So delicious, fresh and easy to make. My children now make these for their families. 🥰 Thanks, Nicole, I love your recipes and videos. You make me smile.

  6. Please include the amounts of
AP Flour, Sugar, Baking Powder, Baking Soda, and Salt.

  7. Perfect pancakes on a perfect fall morning! I’m gonna grab those blueberries from the fridge and go for it. Thanks Nicole!! 😘

  8. If you work outdoors or any kind of “hard” job, try this:
Smear a little peanut butter between the pancakes while they’re hot. Then add your butter and syrup. _Especially during the winter,_ this will get you through your morning.

  9. Was thinking about making breakfast when I caught this post. What a good idea, I thought. I made pancakes though I used self-rising flour, yogurt & milk instead of AP flour with baking powder or buttermilk. The pancakes were fabulous! Thanks for the idea.👍

  10. I love watching your videos but if you could please include the measurements as in how many cups of ?? how many teaspoon or tablespoon of ?? I really don’t want to guess how much you are putting in that bowl and then get the whole recipe wrong. Eyeballing is not my thing I need specifics. Thank you very much

  11. I just made these pancakes and they are amazing. Thank you!
