Why don’t these so-called meal-delivery kit companies (like hellofresh, blue Apron etc..there’s a ton of them out there) ship out these “ramsay in 10” portioned ingredients and cooking instructions. It would be so much more fun and healthy to cook Gordon’s recipes that way.

While my boyfriend was moving into the home my mum and I share, I noticed that he had all of the Gordon Ramsay cookbooks and despite already being madly in love with him, I fell harder. So now they’re combined with the cookbooks I have including the Tilly Ramsay one.

@TheAngryBull Lean meat burns quicker than fatty meat. Fat isn’t unhealthy, it’s for flavor and a way to transfer the heat to the food, which is why you oil the pan. Oil = heat transference, butter = flavor as he said.
@Andrew Orr butter and cream contain trans fat which is OBJECTIVELY unhealthy. There is some debate about saturated fat. In very large amounts like Gordon used, it is unhealthy and documented. Your uneducated opinion does not matter, science is against you

@TheAngryBull Actually if the butter and cream are dairy, the small transfat in those aren’t actually harmful. The bad transfat is artificial which comes from vegetable oil that is hydrogenated. Processed oil.
Overall, fat is not bad for you, it’s sugars, especially when combined with protein or fat when cooking. This is accelerated glycolytic end product. Sugar and starches aren’t typically together with fats or proteins in nature, if they do exist in a food like coconut, it’s a small amount. Excessive starches and sugars is a result of human made creations. Processed foods.
The worst part about this meal isn’t the fat or the protein, it’s the non essential carbs, not the vegetables. The pasta in combination with protein leads to a massive spike in insulin. The nutrients from the wheat and egg are likely null before it is even cooked. Pasta is a processed carbohydrate.
Notice how anything that isn’t natural whole food is processed and has been proven to be unhealthy. It should be obvious, anything humans touch with nature, we destroy.

This is one of my favorite recipes from the cookbook! Its so easy! I dont ever have fresh sage or leek so i just used ground sage & more shallot and it works well. The flavored breadcrumbs really make the dish. 😋
