Crispy golden French french fries topped with flavourful chilli sauce garnished with spring onion greens tastes tasty especially when served as a #MonsoonMagic treat! So, offer this appetizer or celebration starter a try.

Components.

3-4 big potatoes, cut into fingers and parboiled in salted water.
4 tbsps oil.
1/2 tsp red chilli powder.
Salt to taste.
4-5 spring onion bulbs, sliced.
1 1/2 tablespoons sliced garlic.
1 tablespoon sliced ginger.
2 tbsps tomato ketchup.
1 tsp soy sauce.
2 tablespoons red chilli sauce.
2 tsps cornstarch blended in 1/2 cup water.
1 tsp crushed red chillies.
1 stalk spring onion greens, sliced fine.

Technique.

1. Chill the fingers. Take them out of the refrigerator, drizzle 1 tablespoon oil, 1/2 tsp red chilli powder and salt over them and blend well.
2. Put them in the air fryer basket, fit the basket into the main body and cook at 200 ° C till they turn golden and crisp.
3. Heat the remaining oil in a non stick pan, include spring onions and garlic and saute.
4. Include ginger and saute till gently coloured. Include 2 tablespoons tomato ketchup and mix.
5. Add soy sauce and chilli sauce and mix. Include 1/2 cup water and mix and let it come to a boil.
6. Decrease heat and simmer. Add half the cornstarch mixture and mix and cook till the sauce thickens.
7. Add crushed red chillies and mix. Switch off heat. Transfer the sauce into a bowl.
8. Place the potato fingers in a serving bowl, pour the chilli sauce over, garnish with spring onion greens and serve instantly.
