Badam Paysam | बादाम पायसम | Badam Kheer | Indian Desserts | Sanjeev Kapoor Khazana

It's time to dive into a divine, velvety and abundant Indian pudding or kheer made by simmering almonds with milk & flavoured with saffron. You don't need no occasion to make Badam Paysam, just enjoy this dessert whenever you expensive.

BADAM PAYASAM.

Active ingredients.

1 cup almonds, blanched and peeled.
1 lt full cream milk.
3 tablespoons rice, soaked.
1/2 tsp green cardamom powder.
6-8 saffron hairs.
1/2 cup sugar.
2 tbsps almond slivers, for garnishing.

Method.

1. Heat milk in a deep non stick pan. Grind rice and almonds coarsely and contribute to the milk. Prepare on medium heat, stirring often.
2. Include green cardamom powder and mix well. Include saffron and mix. Cook till rice is completely prepared and the mixture thickened.
3. Add sugar and stir till it dissolves.
4. Serve hot garnished with almond slivers.
