    1. It’s a great technique when you’re a famous chef who gets to use a brand-new teflon pan every time you demonstrate a french omelette for a tutorial! LOL I literally came to the comments to make your same comment.

  5. Inspired by Julia Child but nothing like her recipe. Whisk. High-MAX heat. Tsp of H2o. S&P to taste. Then Swirl. Jerk pan. Flip to plate. 20 seconds. I don’t mind omelette variations, but don’t cash in on Julia’s name and reputation. Well, this chef did use eggs, so she was spot on in one way!

  6. I don’t know why, but every time I see her, I think what a badass she is. I love her!

  7. I love eggs and omelets. My issue is the lack of seasonings. Eggs without lots of black pepper is a crime. You didn’t put any on. Kinda seems like hospital food……..bland.

  8. Use to cook omelettes all the time (not French style though)… Now can’t do it to save my life. Usually ends up being a scrambled omelette

  10. Correct! You must assert yourself with confidence in the kitchen. Chef John (Food Wishes) says that food can detect fear!

  11. The problem is if u go eat at Food Network cooks restaurants in real life their food isn’t that good and makes u wonder how they got a TV show when the food they have in their own restaurants isn’t really that good
