Not-So Po' Boys

Active ingredients

1 pound large peeled and deveined shrimp
Kosher salt
4 teaspoons Cajun shrimp seasoning (suggested: Cajun's choice).
1 tablespoon olive oil.
1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds.
1/2 teaspoon fennel seeds.
1/2 red onion, carefully diced.
1 serrano pepper, seeds and membrane got rid of, minced.
1/2 teaspoon turmeric.
1 (20-ounce) can pineapple chunks, drained pipes, finely sliced.
Small handful minced cilantro leaves.
1/2 cup mayo.
Cornmeal, for dredging.
Vegetable oil, for frying.
4 huge po' young boy buns, split.
Lettuce and sliced up tomato, for topping sandwiches.


In a large bowl, toss the shrimp with a hefty scattering of salt, and massage carefully. Permit it to sit for 5 minutes then rinse. This assists plump the shrimp specifically if they were formerly frozen.

  1. at a buffet, i personally sneak corndogs into the buffet so others can enjoy them. I hide 6 corndogs in my jacket pockets. it then, is a joy for me to see other patrons of the establishment eat my corndogs thinking they were part of the buffet.

  3. The new outro card comes in a bit too strong. I would turn the volume of the sound down a bit. Specially when it’s used in clips from older shows who have a more quieter sound
