  8. I would cook the “carrots in cartouche” in a casserole dish to save wasting tin foil. (And you don’t have to waste egg either.)

    1. Good point! Using a casserole dish is definitely more practical and less wasteful. You still get that soft, flavorful result without needing foil or extra steps plus it makes cleanup easier too.
