RAJMA DOSA
Active ingredients
1 cup kidney beans (rajma).
3/4 cup brief grain rice, soaked for 6-8 hours and drained pipes.
1/2 tsp fenugreek seeds (methi dana), soaked for 3-4 hours and drained pipes.
Salt to taste.
Oil for sprinkling.
Coconut chutney to serve.
Approach.
1. Take kidney beans in a big bowl, include water and clean it 1-2 times. Include fresh water and reserved to soak for 6-8 hours. Drain pipes and include into a mixer jar. Add the drenched rice and soaked fenugreek seeds. Add 1 1/2 cups water and mix to a smooth batter.
2. Transfer into a big bowl, cover and reserved to ferment for 6-8 hours.
3. Add 1/2 cup water and salt and mix till well integrated.
4. Heat a non-stick tawa. Put a ladleful of the batter and spread it in a circular movement to make a disc. Drizzle oil and cook for 2-3 minutes on medium heat. Fold in half and place it on a serving plate.
5. Serve hot with coconut chutney.
