चिकन शेज़वान ब्राउन राइस | Chicken Schezwan Brown Rice | Sanjeev Kapoor Khazana

A lip-smaking rice dish that never stops working to impress with its amazing splash of flavours and taste. Wild rice tossed in a spicy mix of veggies and chicken is a perfect meal to raise your mood.

CHICKEN SCHEZWAN RICE

Ingredients

200 grams boiled chicken strips
2 tbsps schezwan sauce
1 1/2 cups Daawat Quick Cooking Brown Basmati Rice
2 tbsps oil
1 1/2 tbsps finely chopped garlic
3 tsps carefully sliced celery
2-3 spring onion bulbs, vertically sliced
2-3 fresh red chillies, slit
Salt to taste
1 omelette, cut into thin strips
1 tsp red chilli flakes
2 tablespoons chopped spring onion greens
Spring onion greens for garnish

Approach

1. Take Daawat Quick Cooking Brown Basmati Rice in a bowl and wash completely 2-3 times. Add adequate water and soak for thirty minutes. Drain the water.
2. Heat adequate water in a deep pan. Include salt and let the mixture pertained to a boil.
3. Include the drained rice and cook for 15 minutes. Drain the cooked rice.
4. Heat oil in a non-stick wok.
5. Include garlic, and celery and blend well. Prepare for 1 minute. Add spring onion bulbs and fresh red chillies and sauté on high heat for 1-2 minutes.
6. Add chicken, mix and cook for 1 minute.
7. Include schezwan sauce, and sauté for 1-2 minutes. Include the prepared rice, salt, omelette strips, red chilli flakes and spring onion greens and toss till well integrated.
8. Transfer the rice into a serving bowl and serve hot garnished with spring onion greens.
