क्रीम चीज़ पाउंड केक | Cream Cheese Pound Cake | Sanjeev Kapoor Khazana

Light, fluffy and chocolaty cake is delightful for any celebration.

CREAM CHEESE

Components

1/3 cup butter, softened
1/3 cup cream cheese, softened
3/4 cup castor sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla essence
3/4 cup refined flour (maida).
1/4 tsp salt.
1 tbsp dark chocolate chips.
⅛ cup milk (optional).

Approach.

1. Preheat the oven at 180ºC.
2. Put the butter in a big bowl. Add cream cheese and beat with an electric beater till light. Add the castor sugar in batches and beat till the mix turns light and fluffy.
3. Break in the egg one at a time and beat well in between each addition.
4. Include the vanilla essence and beat till well integrated.
5. Sort the refined flour and salt straight into the mixture. Add the chocolate chips and carefully fold in till well combined.
6. Gather the milk and gently fold in till a smooth batter is formed. Transfer the batter into a desired silicon mould. Put it in the preheated oven and bake for 50-55 minutes.
7. Bring the cake out of the oven and allow to cool completely. De-mould and cut the cake into pieces and organize on a serving plate.
