  1. I am intimidated by the caramel. I haven’t had any luck trying it. But I so want to make these!

  2. In the Netherlands we typically slice the waffle horizontally through the middel . And then in between the halfs we would put the caramel.

    1. It is super Yummy, If you are ever in the Netherlands, go to a market and buy a fresh one. You can also buy it in a grocery store. I do recommend having a nice hot cup of tea with it. Tip : Place the waffle on the cup for a few minutes. They taste the best when they are warm 😁

  6. As a Dutchie this recipe is not ok. All stroop wafels are the same, no funny shapes. The filling is stroop and not caramel! And the waffle is sliced open and stroop is put in between on not 2 waffles on top of each other.
