Gravlax is a cold-cured salmon appetiser served thinly sliced with a mustard sauce drizzled on top. Although it may look like a complicated process, gravlax is surprisingly easy to make at home by treating, and it's one of Martha Stewart's preferred preserving approaches for seafood.

  1. I love gravlax! I have only used salt, sugar and dill, sometimes white pepper but a touch of vodka seems exiting. We had gravlax on our breakfast bread, salmon was cheap and just waiting to be caught in the river.
