I think I’m one of the only few left who prefers white pepper. I do use black, but usually pre-ground / fine. White pepper is nice & mild. Never knew about this function though!

I just tried this with my shaker which apparently refuses to give different types of grinds

I figured this tip out by accident once; I first wondered what the heck was wrong with my pepper mill then I was like ‘ahh this is fantastic’ hahaha
Yes and the holes at the top of the salt shaker is there so you dont need to unscrew everytime you want salt.
Look at pepper, she is on the grind everyday
