Spiced Peach Iced Tea | स्पाईस्ड पीच आइस्ड टी | Sanjeev Kapoor Khazana

SPICED PEACH ICED TEA

Components

1 inch cinnamon stick
2-3 medium peaches, peeled and sliced
1 small peach, very finely sliced
6-8 tbsps sugar
5-6 tea bags
Ice cubes as required
5-6 lemon pieces + to serve
6-8 fresh mint leaves + to serve
1 1/2 tsps lemon juice

Approach

1. To make peach jam, heat a non-stick pan. Include the chopped peaches, 2-3 tbsps sugar and 1/2 tsp lemon juice and blend well. Prepare till the sugar melts.
2. Include 1/4 cup water, mix and cook till the peach turns soft and pulpy. Take the pan off the heat and allow the jam to cool to space temperature.
3. Bring 4 cups water to a boil in a deep pan. Break the cinnamon stick and add into the water.
4. Include remaining sugar and cook till it melts. Take the pan off the heat and stress the mix into a jar. Dip the tea bags for a couple of times or till the flavour is instilled well. Discard the tea bag and add ice.
5. Add peach jam, lemon pieces, mint leaves and staying lemon juice and blend well.
6. Put the ice in serving glasses, include some lemon pieces, some mint leaves, a few peach slices, and put the iced over it. Serve instantly.
