A filling, colourful, 3-tier sandwich that has greens, cheese, cream cheese and of course, the star of the dish, Chicken Salami.

SALAMI SANDWICH

Components

1/2 cup cream cheese
1/2 cup boiled beetroot puree
Salt to taste
Crushed black peppercorns to taste
6 white bread pieces
Butter for using
Lettuce leaves as needed
4 cheese slices
8 chicken salami pieces
Potato chips to serve
Juice to serve

Method

1. Take cream cheese in a bowl. Include beetroot puree, salt and crushed black peppercorns and blend well.
2. To make one sandwich, spread out some butter on one side of three bread slices. Location a cheese piece on one bread piece, add a few lettuce leaves, location another slice of bread over it with the butter side facing down, spread out the beetroot mix and place some salami pieces over it, position a cheese piece. Spread some more of the beetroot mixture over the third piece of bread, arrange some lettuce leaves and location this over the sandwich with the lettuce side facing down. Cut the edges and cut the sandwich into 4 pieces. Secure the pieces with toothpicks.
3. Arrange the sandwich pieces on a serving plate, put some potato chips, and serve with juice of your choice.
