Masala Prawns Fry|Andhra Style Prawns Fry|Royyala Vepudu|Spicy Prawns Fry|Prawns Fry Recipe|Shrimp Fry Dish|Prawns Masala|Spicy Masala Prawns

Components for Masala Prawns Fry:

– 500 gms Prawns or Shrimp – 300 gms net (shelled & deveined).

For marination:.
– Turmeric powder- 1/4 tsp.
– Red Chilli Powder- 1 tsp.
– Salt- 1/2 tsp.
– Ginger garlic paste- 1.5 tsp.

Spice Powders:.
– Coriander powder- 1 tsp.
– Cumin powder- 1/2 tsp.
– Fennel (Saunf) Powder- 1/2 tsp.
– Garam masala powder- 1/2 tsp.
– Kashmiri Chilli Powder – 1 tsp.

Other Active ingredients:.
– Onions, sliced- 2 medium.
– Green chillies, cut in half & slit -4 nos.
– Curry leaves- 15-20 leaves.
– Juice of lemon- 1.5 tsp.
– Oil- 3 tbsp.

Preparation:.
– Marinate the prawns with the items indicated and reserved for around 30 minutes.
– Slice the onions and slit & cut in half the green chillies.

Process:.
– Heat oil in a pan & include the sliced up onions. Fry the onions on medium heat for around 6-7 mins till light brown.
– Add the slit green chillies & curry leaves and fry for 1 min.
– Now include the marinaded prawns & sauté on medium heat for around 2 mins.
– Add the spice powders, blend well & fry on medium heat for around 3-4 mins till the masala coats the prawns well.
– Squeeze in juice of lemon and blend it well. Stir for a minute and serve hot.
